Ougo Huet vs Jan Szajko for WKN World Super Bantamweight title

Ougo Huet of Belgium is scheduled for the biggest fight of his kickboxing career. In his next outing on September 28 a protegee of Osman Yigin goes through the ropes in Ingolstadt, Germany, where he takes on the representative of the country-host Jan Szajko. The pair battles it out for WKN World Super Bantamweight title under oriental rules.

Huet replaces previously announced Luca Grusovin of Italy, who was expected to face Szajko in July. The bout fell off due to injury of the latter, and the event was rescheduled for September.

Over the course of his career Ougo Huet has held WKN European Super Featherweight amateur title in Muay Thai. He earned the strap by TKO in the second round against Said Moufek at the latest edition of Simply the Best produced in Farciennes, Belgium last November. In December the same year, the Belgian kickboxer came out victorious by unanimous decision against Letchi Gadaev, scoring the win in Strasbourg, France.

The Szajko vs. Huet championship bout is scheduled for five rounds.

The co-main event of the upcoming show features local Viktor Hofmann up against another representative of Belgium – Eric Nsinga, World Kickboxing Network announced on Saturday. The pair of middleweights meets in the WKN International title fight. The encounter is scheduled for seven rounds in Full Contact.

The championship supervisor is Klaus Hagemann. The undercard is expected to see a series of bouts with local and international competitors.
