Vietnamese-American Bi Nguyen was back in action last night (Sep. 6) in Ho Chi Minh City. Former Survivor contestant faced Indian Puja Tomar in the women’s atomweight Muay Thai bout. The encounter was featured on the card billed as “ONE Immortal Triumph”.
The scheduled for three rounds battle went the distance. The verdict heard a split decision in favor of “Killer Bee”, who made a victorious comeback and return to ” The Art of Eight Limbs”.

“Nguyen and Tomar went toe-to-toe for three rounds, providing the fans in Ho Chih Minh City with non-stop striking action. Through the majority of the contest, Nguyen proved to be more aggressive with her combinations as Tomar took a mostly defensive stance. In the third and final round, Nguyen picked up the pace and outstruck Tomar to end the bout on a strong note and walk away with the decision win in her home country,” reads the fight-recap sent out by the promotion.
In her previous outing in July Bi Nguyen suffered the defeat by split decision against Bozhena Antoniyar in a three-round women’s MMA bout. Before that “Killer Bee” stopped Dwi Ani Retno Wulan in the first-round, which marked her ONE Championship debut.
In the main event of ONE Immortal Triumph Nong-O Gaiyanghadao retained his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai belt by split decision against Brice Delval. In the co-main event Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai scored a unanimous decision against Bob Sacko.
