Mihajlov vs. Hegyi tops Salgo Fight Night
The World Kickboxing Network returns to Hungary on September 28 with “Salgo Fight Night” held at the Sports Hall (Városi Sportcsarnok) in the city Salgótarján. The event is headlined by WKN national kickboxing championship featuring heavyweight David Mihajlov up against his country-fellow Zoltan Hegyi.

In his previous bout in June in Seoul David Mihajlov (19-4) claimed the first-round knockout win against South Korean K-1 and Pride veteran Choi Hong-man. The resume of representative of “Re-Gym” also includes the battles against Bogdan Nastase, Marius Munteanu, Roman Shcherbatiuk, among others.
Over the course of his career Zoltan Hegyi (18-2) has held national titles in different organisations. Going up against Mihajlov, the competitor out of BSK Club aspires to earn prestigious WKN belt.
The Mihajlov vs. Hegyi championship bout headlines a series of kickboxing matchups with Hungarian competitors. The official poster for the event landed on Wednesday.

Hungary is also known as a host of the third episode of Simply the Best produced in 2015 in Budapest. The list of prominent kickboxers representing the country includes Gabor Gorbics, Szucs Barnabas, Bianka Balajti, to name a few.
