Yohan Lidon is scheduled for his fifth WKN World Super Middleweight title defense on December 14. Battling it out in Saint-Fons, France he headlines the event titled “La Nuit de Challenge 19”, World Kickboxing Network announced on Thursday.
In his fourth championship defense last August, Lidon faced Swiss Yoann Kongolo for the second time. The pair battled it out in the headliner of VIP event Fight Night Saint Tropez, where the champion retained his belt by unanimous decision, as well as took a revenge for the defeat suffered a year earlier at GLORY Kickboxing 42.

Lidon, 36, won prestigious WKN strap in May 2016 by knockout in the fourth round against Karapet Karapetyan. In August the same year the Frenchman made his first successful title defense by unanimous decision against Danijel Solaja. In May 2017 he retained the belt also by unanimous decision against Patrik Vidakovics, preceding the third successful title defense declared by way of knockout in the fourth round against Florian Kroger in August.
The name of challenger going up against French star at the upcoming show is yet to be announced.

The event is also expected to see a newly-crowned two-style WKN World Super Featherweight champion Brandon Vieira up against an opponent who is yet to be named. The matchups are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
