The WKN European title is on the line on November 30 in Perpignan, France. The contest features the representative of the country-host Samuel Dbili contesting for the strap in the super middleweight class against challenger who is yet to be named. The event marks the seventh visits of World Kickboxing Network to the country this year.

“Under the patronage of Christophe Errera, over the course of his career the prominent French competitor Samuel Dbili has defeated a number of international opponents, as well as represented national Team France. End of November the 30-year-old kickboxer of Carcharias Boxing Team looks to claim prestigious WKN European gold,” reads the announcement.

To name a few, Dbili defeated the likes of Arslan Oustarkhanov, Liess Labsi, Eduard Mircea. He has also represented France at IFMA European Muay Thai Championships.

The name of the second title challenger is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The contest precedes two other Championship events scheduled in France for the rest of 2019. On December 7, former two-time World Kickboxing Network Super Featherweight title challenger Nicola Canu of Italy goes up against Bryan Lang of France in the contest for the division’s European gold. The following weekend (Dec. 14) French star Yohan Lidon makes the fifth defense of his WKN World Super Middleweight title against a competitor who is yet to be announced.

Earlier this year the organisation visited Nice, Agde, Orchies, Nimes, Villejuif and Les Mureaux, presenting WKN World and subordinate championship bouts.
