The open workouts for UFC 243 was held on Thursday (Oct. 3) afternoon at Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia. The list of participants included both, main and co-main event fighters, as well as several competitors battling it out on the rest of the fight card.
UFC commentator Jon Anik was the host. Lightweight Dan Hooker was the first to showcase some of his skills in front of Melbourne crowd. Interim middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya, heavyweights Tai Tuivasa and Justin Tafa, and lightweight Al Iaquinta followed. The culmination of open workout saw the current middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.

UFC 243 takes place at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia this coming Sunday October 6. The headline-bout features the reigning middleweight champion Robert Whittaker up against the division’s interim titleholder Israel Adesanya in the championship unification.
The ultimate media day took place on Friday. The free and open to the public weigh-in ceremony is conducted on Saturday from 9 am to 11 am (AEST) at Marvel Stadium.
