Following Fight Night 161 held this past weekend in Tampa, Florida, the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on October 19 (AEST). The event billed as UFC on ESPN 6 features a total of 13 bouts, with light heavyweights Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman battling it out in the headliner of the show.
Unbeaten in all of his professional outings Dominick Reyes (11-0) is coming off the win by split decision against Volkan Oezdemir. Before that he scored a unanimous decision against Ovince Saint Preux and stopped Jared Cannonier in the first round.

Former UFC Middleweight champion Chris Weidman (14-4) lost his previous bout by knockout in the third round against Ronaldo Souaza. Prior to that he submitted Kelvin Gastelum in the third round. He is making his light heavyweight debut.
The co-main event at UFC on ESPN 6 features Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens squaring off at featherweight. Also on the card Greg Hardy takes on Ben Sosoli at heavyweight, Joe Lauzon faces Jonathan Pearce at lightweight, and Maycee Barber and Gillian Robertson do battle at women’s flyweight. In addition, Deron Winn and Darren Stewart faceoff at middleweight.
