Eight international promotions are featured on the roster of this coming Fight Weekend (October 25-27) in Asia, Europe and USA. The list includes kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA events with some of the notable competitors participating.
ONE Championship kicks off Fight Weekend with the event titled “Dawn of Valor” held in Jakarta on Friday October 25. Top of the bill features Zebaztian Kadestam (12-4) making the second defense of his welterweight title against challenger Kiamrian Abbasov (21-4). In the co-main event Regian Eersel defends his lightweight kickboxing belt against Nieky Holzken in the championship rematch. Among other bouts featured on the card, two-style WKN Super Bantamweight champion Federico Roma makes his promotional debut in a battle against Wang Junguang.
Also on Friday, Frank Mir (18-13) and Roy Nelson (23-17) square off in the rematch. The contest headlines Bellator 231 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Their first bout in May 2011 ended in favor of Mir, who scored a unanimous decision.
Saturday October 26 features as many as five shows. The World Kickboxing Network presents two back to back events in Northern Ireland and Belgium. The “made-in Prokick” Lord of the Ring event in Belfast features Johnny “Swift” Smith in defense of his WKN Intercontinental Welterweight title against Shuhei Sone. The co-main event is the “18 years in the making” rematch between former two-division champion Gary Hamilton and Douglas Morrison.
Meanwhile, former World Kickboxing Network Super Bantamweight title challenger Ougo Huet takes on Giacomo Stocchino. The pair battles it out for WKN European Featherweight title in Muay Thai, topping “Fight Day” in Trazegnies, Courcelles.

Also on the day GLORY 70 takes place in Lyon, France featuring Troy Jones up against Murthel Groenhart. The contest is scheduled for five rounds with the interim welterweight title on the line.
As well, Thai Fight presents its next edition in Bang Saen. The event features a series of bouts in Muay Thai and Kard Chuek. Renowned Saenchai takes on Batjargal Sundui in a three-round 67 kg catchweight bout.
In addition, the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Singapore with UFC Fight Night 162. MMA event on ESPN+ is headlined by Demian Maia (27-9) faceoff Ben Askren (19-1) in the scheduled for five rounds welterweight battle.
Sunday October 27 features Buakaw Banchamek in his debut in Cambodia. The famed Muay Thai fighter takes on Chris Ngimbi in a battle under Kun Khmer rules.

Kicking off next week, ONE Hero Series takes place in Beijing, China on Monday October 28. Australian Elliot Compton partakes in the event, going up against American Anthony Njokuani in a three-round lightweight battle.
