The World Kickboxing Network returns to Italy on December 15 with the event titled “Invictus Arena 27”. The show takes place at Palazzetto Guglielmo Fiorini in Rome, featuring the representative of the country-host Francesco Picca up against David Ruiz Marrero of Spain.
Picca and Ruiz battle it out for WKN European Super Lightweight title. The championship bout is scheduled for five rounds in oriental kickboxing (K-1 style).

Last December he became the winner of WKN International Grand Prix in the lightweight class. His resume includes the victories against Xavier Lejour, Petru Morari, Natale Allegra, among others.
Spanish competitor David Ruiz defeated the likes of Adonai Mederos, Jhon Cortes, to name a couple. Among everything, he is the winner of knockout tournament “Legend II”.
The undercard is expected to see a series of kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA bouts with local and international participants. The event is presented by Riccardo Lecca.
During this year World Kickboxing Network twice visited Rome, as well as Milan, Pero, and Iglesias (Sardinia). Invictus Arena 27 marks the organisation’s sixth visit to Italy for 2019.
