Nicola Canu from Iglesias, Sardinia is a two-time WKN European Featherweight champion and two-time World Kickboxing Network Super Featherweight title challenger. The Italian athlete has been prominently competing internationally for over a decade.
In his previous bout in July Canu faced Brandon Vieira in WKN World Super Featherweight title fight, yet fell short on judges scorecards. In December 2016 he took a short notice bout against then champion Tomasz Makowski, who came out victorious also by decision.
Canu is set to make his return to the championship ring on December 7 in Baccarat, France, where he takes on the representative of the country-host Bryan Lang. The pair battles it out for WKN European Super Featherweight title in oriental kickboxing (K-1 style). The contest headlines the event titled “Cristal Boxing 4“.

Earlier in his career Nicola Canu held WKN European Gold in the featherweight class, scoring a unanimous decision against Jeremy Legrand. He has also made a successful title defense by knockout in the second round against Jouhri Abdelmalek.
