Middleweights John Salter (16-4) and Costello van Steenis (12-1) square off in the headliner of Bellator 233 held in Thackerville, OK, USA on November 9 (AEST). At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted a day before the fight show the athletes tipped the scales at 185.3 and 185.4, respectively.

Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (21-9, 1 NC) came in at 192.7 for his 195-pound catchweight battle against Andrew Kapel (14-6), who was 192.7. The contest serves as the co-main event.

Also on the main card Leslie Smith showed 145.5 for her featherweight encounter with Arlene Blencowe, declaring 145.3; and Tyrell Fortune and Zu Anyanwu weighed in at 247.7 and 264.9 (respectively).

Robert Gidron missed welterweight limit, showing 175.8 for his preliminary bout against Kyle Crutchmer, who was 170.4. As well, Jason Perrotta missed middleweight limit, coming in at 186.7 for his matchup with Romero Cotton, 186.
