The third lightweight kickboxing battle has been added to the upcoming GLORY 73 fight card held on December 7 at the Nanshan Culture and Sports Center in Shenzhen, China. The scheduled for three rounds contest features Stoyan Koprivlenski up against Josh Jauncey, squaring off for the second time. The pair first met in March 2018 in Los Angeles, where the latter took the win by split decision.
Former lightweight title challenger Josh Jauncey (30-10-0, 15 KO) won his previous bout in September by unanimous decision against Lowrant-t Nelson. Before that the Canadian kickboxer suffered the defeat by unanimous decision against Tyjani Beztati, as well as against the defending champion at that time Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.
Stoyan Koprivlenski (11-3-0, 5 KO) last fought in June when he took the win via third-round TKO against Mohammed Jaraya. Prior to that the Bulgarian competitor dropped a unanimous decision against Beztati, and defeated Anil Cabri, also by unanimous decision.
In the main event of GLORY 73 Shenzhen the reigning lightweight champion Marat Grigorian makes the second defense of his belt against challenger Elvis Gashi in a five-round championship bout. Also on the card Vlad Tuinov and Bruno Gazani meet in a three-round battle also at lightweight.
