Italian kickboxer Nicola Canu (26-6, 4 KO) is back in the ring on December 7 in Baccarat, France, where he faces the representative of the country-host Bryan Lang (41-10, 18 KO). The pair meets in a five-round contest, battling it out for WKN European Super Featherweight title under oriental rules. The championship bout tops the “Cristal Boxing 4” event presented by Vincent Marinetto.
Earlier in his career “The Power” Canu earned WKN European Featherweight title, as well as made successfully defended his strap. In addition, the protege of Alessandro Alias twice challenged for World Kickboxing Network Super Featherweight Gold, yet suffered the defeat by unanimous decision against Brandon Viera and Tomasz Makowski.
A new video emerged this week, showing Nicola Canu training, hitting pads with Anthony Ghiani at Golden Rule Academy in Oristano.

Talking the upcoming bout the 26-year-old competitor from Oristano, Sardinia says “I want to tell him [Bryan Lang] that I like war. And I like that belt too.”
The rest of the card at Cristal Boxing 4 features a series of kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts with local and international competitors.
