Light Heavyweights Jan Blachowicz and Ronaldo Souza squared off in the headliner of UFC Fight Night 164. MMA event on ESPN+ took place at Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 17 (AEST).

The scheduled for five rounds battle went a full distance. The verdict heard a split decision in favor of Blachowic, who updated his record to 25-8, scoring the second straight win. Souza dropped to 26-8, suffering the second defeat in a row.

The co-main event saw another battle at light heavyweight featuring Mauricio Rua up against Paul Craig. After three rounds the encounter ended in a split draw.

Also on the main card Charles Oliveira stopped Jared Gordon in the first round of their lightweight bout. In addition, middleweights Andre Muniz and Wellington Turman defeated their respective opponents Antonio Arroyo and Markus Perez by unanimous decision.
