Nong-O Gaiyanghadao retained his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai title last night (Nov. 22) in Singapore. Thai champion faced his countryman Saemapetch Fairtex in the headliner of the event, billed as “Edge of Greatness”.
The contest didn’t go the full distance. Saemapetch was dropped twice at the end of the second round. He rebounded in the third; yet the fourth and final round saw Nong-O declaring one punch KO, making his third successful title defense.
The co-main event saw a three-round lightweight MMA bout between Ev Ting and Amir Khan. The latter took the win by split decision.
Among other matchups, Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy stopped Charlie Peters in the second round of their featherweight Muay Thai bout, and Colbey Northcutt earned a unanimous decision against Putri Padmi after three rounds of women’s MMA battle at flyweight.
