Famed Muay Thai fighter Saenchai was in the action last night (Nov. 23) in Mae Sot, province Tak. Yet, it was only a short appearance.
The Thai competitor faced Alejandro Amicucci of Argentina in the semi-final of four-man knockout tournament. The scheduled for three rounds bout ended in the first. Saenchai quickly found his advantage on a short distance and stopped his opponent with a series of knee strikes.

In addition, Saenchai updated his record to 313-49-2. Riding the 50-fight streak, he is scheduled for his final outing for 2019 at Thai Fight Patong on December 21.
His next opponent Tophik Abdullaev of Georgia was expected to face Ali Asghar of Iran in another semi-final of the tournament. The fight suffered the last minute cancellation, after the latter withdrew, reportedly, due to personal matters.
Thai Fight Mae Sot also featured a series of super fights, 67 kg Muay Thai tournament and 70 kg contest in Kard Chuek, where instead of boxing gloves the rope is used around hand and forearm. The complete results can be found below.
