Stamp Fairtex faces Puja Tomar in fourth MMA bout

Nong Stamp Fairtex is scheduled for her fourth appearance as a mixed martial artist on January 10 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Battling it out in front of her home crowd she takes on Puja Tomar of India in a three-round women’s MMA bout. The contest is expected to co-headline the ONE Championship event billed as “A New Tomorrow”.


Stamp Fairtex (3-0) is a reigning ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing champion. She aspires to earn the belt in MMA, currently riding the three-fight undefeated streak.

In her previous bout in November she scored a unanimous decision against Bi Nguyen. In August she took the the win by submission in the third round against Asha Roka. In her debut in July 2018 Stamp Fairtex scored the win by knockout in the first round against Rashi Shinde.

Puja Tomar (4-3) was last seen in action this past September when she suffered the defeat by split decision against Nguyen in Muay Thai bout. Before that she took the win by split decision against Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol in MMA.

Last year Tomar fought once, and was submitted by Jihin Radzuan in Round 2. In November 2017 she lost via first-round submission against Tiffany Teo.

In the main event of “ONE A New Tomorrow” Rodtang Jitmuangnon makes the first defense of his flyweight Muay Thai title against former champion Jonathan Haggerty. The pair meets in the scheduled for five rounds rematch.
