Cristal Boxing Event 4: Bryan Lang vs. Nicola Canu

Bryan Lang (41-10, 18 KO) and Nicola Canu (26-6, 4 KO) square off tonight (Dec. 7) in Baccarat, France. The pair battles it out for WKN European super featherweight title in oriental kickboxing (K-1 style). The contest headlines the event titled “Cristal Boxing 4”, taking place at PΓ΄le Sportif Josette Renaux.

At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted a day before the fight show, both competitors made the required limit of 62.1 kg. The representative of the country-host, Bryan Lang tipped the scales at 62 kg even. The guest from Sardinia (a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea), Nicola Canu declared 61.4 kg.

The championship bout is scheduled for five rounds. The supervisor is Osman Yigin of Belgium, representing World Kickboxing Network.

The event is presented by Vincent Marinetto. The rest of the card features a series of kickboxing bouts with local and international competitors.

“Cristal Boxing 4” in Baccarat, France is held on the same day as “Strong Among The Strong” in Virrey Del Pino, Buenos Aires, which marks the sixth WKN event in Argentina for 2019. In addition, the organization announced its return to Slovakia scheduled for January 25 in Povazska Bystrica (via Twitter).
